Muscle Stretching & Strengthening -Strength training isn't just about lifting weights and "bulking up". Strength training builds muscle endurance along with muscle strength. There are many benefits of doing strengthening exercises and they can be done by adults and children of both genders. Benefits of strengthening your muscles include:

  • Decreasing body fat and increasing lean muscle mass. Increasing lean muscle mass can help your body burn calories more efficiently.
  • Toning your muscles to help you look thinner
  • Increasing or maintaining balance and coordination
  • Increasing or maintaining bone mineral density

  • Preventing muscle deterioration
  • Increasing athletic performance

Exercise Therapy -therapy involves eliciting motion of the body or its parts in order to relieve symptoms and improve function.  Specific stretching, strengthening, and stabilization exercises are a critical part of the rehabilitation process for most musculoskeletal injuries.  Continued exercise is an important component of rehabilitation and injury prevention. Comprehensive exercise program to ensure a complete return to pre-injury levels.

 

 

Health And Rehabilitation Support Devices -Include orthotics, which can decrease pain, not only in the foot, but in other parts of the body such as the knee, hip and lower back. As an example orthotics can also increase stability in an unstable joint, prevent a deformed foot from developing additional problems, and improve overall quality of life.

 

 

Functional Abilities Evaluations (FAEs) - FAE testing is a valuable tool to guide the return to work process or to quantify very specifically, a person’s functional abilities and limitations. Some of the items evaluated are:

  • Static & dynamic strength
  • Whole body range of motion
  • Work endurance
  • Standing & walking work tolerance
  • Seated work tolerance

 

 

Psychotherapy - Dealing with emotional well being. Help with relationships, assertiveness and communication, bereavement and grief, clinical depression, borderline depression, weight loss and weight management, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, GAD (general anxiety disorder), panic attacks (panic disorder), phobias, work stress, codependency, overcoming trauma and post traumatic stress disorder, stress management, weight problems, eating disorders and other psychological issues or problems.
